We’re happy to announce January HEMA recruitment in all of our locations:

– German Longsword Course CORK starting MON 12th of Jan 2026 8-10PM @ Mahon Community Centre
– German Longsword Course LIMERICK starting THU 15th of Jan 2026 8-10PM @ Croom Sports Complex

These 10 weeks long beginners courses are introduction to HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) and will teach the basics of historical fencing with medieval longsword according to German Tradition (KdF). They are also our entry level requirements for joining the advanced training in our club.

For the undecided ones, please note we are hosting OPEN DAYS that will take place on Mon 5th of Jan 2026 (CORK OPEN DAY) and Thu 8th of Jan 2026 (LIMERICK OPEN DAY) – these are free promo classes, free of charge that aims to introduce HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) to the general public.

All equipment will be provided, please bring some light gloves, towel and plenty of water!
